Mao Kun
Mao Kun is a unique Shore Map.
Layout
The map is an island inhabited by pirates that revive as undead when the player interacts with the boss (simply named Fairgraves). They then spawn a number of loot containers called Booty Chests, which drop currency and spawn the boss Fairgraves, Never Dying.
Fairgraves will appear a few seconds after opening a Booty Chest. When the first seven booty chests are opened, Fairgraves only uses his basic Spectral Throw with additional projectiles, and will disappear after 10–20 seconds, regardless of whether or not you engage in combat with him (this may be different behavior from previous patches, but it is how it currently works in Version 2.0.0h). Furthermore is the loot from Fairgraves apparitions proportinal to % of life lost, while fighting him. It is possible to open multiple chests next to each other, spawning multiple copies of Fairgraves, but you can simply run away before they even spawn and return to loot the currency later.
When the final eighth Booty Chest is opened, a large pack of ghost pirates are summoned in a circle around the chest and the final Fairgraves boss appears on top of the chest, using all of his abilities, does not disappear over time, and can finally be killed.

3.1.0
Mao Kun: Monsters no longer gain Power and Endurance charges every 20 seconds, as this was consistently causing performance problems. These monsters now have a chance to gain those charges on hit. The number of monsters that appear in this map has been reduced, but the area now grants an increase to experience gained to compensate.
